Modern Technology and Govt school kids
despite working in the corporate field, I never stopped reading news, articles and reports on child education. I was always interested that what is being channelised in govt schools in India. When data suggest that still, we have 68.84% rural-urban distribution and urbanisation are increasing at a rate of 31.16 % but if we see the same development of school kids, we find the situation very serious. Questioning government policies may be a different topic of discussion. The entire world is taking a step towards digital education, in India only 8.57 % of govt schools do have a computer while in private schools 34.43% of schools have computers.
Working in a Robotics training company I was very impressed with the idea to enable young minds in digital intellect.
I believe students sitting in a class are the number of minds to accept your idea, thoughts and the energy what a trainer channelise in the classroom. Form of labour has been shifted from hard copies to soft copies. If we won't get in touch with the ongoing development we will lose our job and the respect as well.
It is the era where its need to publish, present to the world what we are learning. We need to get documented in soft copies whatever we are being taught.
IT field is the filed which bring foreign currency in India.
We need to enable our school kids in the field of software development. Let us introduce programming or software languages in govt schools. Let us know them what they love to play on, how it has been developed, let them know what they crave for is very easy and they can grab it, learn it and let others play on their ideas.
I have been to International schools to train them in robotics and machine languages. I have been govt schools too and from the same, I completed my schooling.
I found in govt school they need a digitally expert teacher I all the subjects. They need to be treated as a developer, inventor and future of this Millenium. Their ideas need to be respected not murdered, ignored.
Kids do have surprising mind switching abilities. It needs to be nourished and nurtured.
Govt schools need policies, Need well-equipped classrooms and digitally qualified teachers to let them flourish in the jungle of Private educational world.
